Connect 01/19/17

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow on Friday, our country receives its 45th president. Is it possible for Christians to have close relationships with those with whom they differ politically? Absolutely! How? Because with believers there is something deeper than politics that binds us together. It's the cross of Jesus Christ that provides the basis of our love for one another that transcends all other distinctions.

On Sunday we're looking at a passage about relationships and what makes them distinct and so different from every other kind of friendship we can experience. I know we're really going to be encouraged and challenged by this passage in Colossians 3.
